About me

Hi, I am Mustafa,

As a classical entrance to the resume, I was born in Kayseri/Turkey. I completed my primary, secondary, and high-school education in Istanbul. My bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Eskişehir Anadolu University. I worked in the private sector during my undergraduate and graduate education. My MD and Ph.D. in Public Relation and Publicity at Kayseri Erciyes University.  I started to work at Erciyes University Faculty of Communication as a lecturer in 2011. In 2015, I was appointed as an assistant professor to the same faculty. I’m still working at Erciyes University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations.

Throughout my doctorate process, I concentrated on social media and digital communication campaigns. But currently, I am working on digital divide concept and the effects of digitalization, especially digital addiction (such as technology addiction, digital game addiction, social media addiction etc.), on social life. I conducted a project investigating the alteration of the game habits affected by digital technologies among parents and their children.

I supervise theses and papers on new Communication Technologies and their effects on social life. I give some lectures in this context.
